TeamGrippen (Competitive Climbing)

Sasquatch+ is a group that has increased training and more focus and prepration for competition climbing. Sasquatch+ is an additional team add on to your regular Sasquatch member enrollment; an active Sasquatch enrollment to be part of the Sasquatch+ group. Sasquatch+ included one additional coached training session per week in addition to the Sasquatch regular practice schedule. 

Yeti is a COMPETITION FOCUSED where athletes are working toward qualify for Regional and higher level championship events. 

Chupacabra is selective practice group within the TeamGrippen Yeti team. The Chupacabra practice group has additional competition focused training that provided one additional day of training each week throughout the year (46 additional training sessions annually) that are held at various climbing facilities across the Denver Metro area. This approach provides additional experience and exposure to more terrain and setting styles than would otherwise be possible within the practice format of the regular Yeti team. The Chupabacra group meets Mondays at selected facilities for a 2-1/2 training session. In addition to the additional training session, Chupacabra athletes will be provided with personal training plans that are specific to their unique goals and development areas.
